Forresters Beach is picturesque and dog-friendly, while Bateau Bay Beach is abundant with native flora and fauna, right in the heart of Wyrrabalong National Park.

2. The coffee is strong and the food is delicious
The northern end of the Central Coast region is full of hidden gems where you can sit, sip and relax. The coffee at Flour & Co. in Toowoon Bay is hard to beat, as are their delicious burritos. Meanwhile, the breakfast fare on offer at The Glass Onion, Green Tangerine or Modern Organic in neighbouring Long Jetty are also incredible. Several iconic Central Coast institutions, such as Burnt Honey Bakery and Il Toscano Pasta Bar have also recently opened stores in the suburb.
3. There are plenty of spots to get active
Finally, the Central Coast is the active family’s paradise. Whether you’re keen to hike one of the regions six National Parks, go for a surf, try a spot of golf at Magenta Shores or Shelly Beach, or cycle around Tuggerah Lakes – there’s something for everyone.
